This Season...
Give the Gift of Hope

On a cold wet November night the officers of Animal Control were called to the
scene of an abandoned pregnant golden retriever, who quite literally gave birth
right before their eyes. Starving, cold, wet and alone, the gracious character of this dog inspired the officers to tell her story as an example.
Her name is Hope.

In 2001 over 10,000 unwanted animals in Buncombe County were euthanized. Today that number has dropped to 4,000. But we still have work to do. This holiday season-give the Gift of Hope. Your $55 donation to Asheville Humane will purchase one spay/neuter voucher. Give one to a friend in need or donate the voucher to Animal Control to give to families in need.
